There is an improvisational spirit to the flute line that is somewhat jazz influenced, while the electronic track incorporates minimalism and Latin styles. The piece has a fun 5\/4 groove, calling for the flutist to take on different characters and at times weave in and out of backing track texture.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003e— Allison Loggins-Hull\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003ePERFORMANCE NOTES\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe flute should be slightly amplified in performance, in order to achieve a sonic balance with the electronic track. A monitor speaker is necessary for the performer to easily coordinate with the electronic track.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe entire piece is metered. Electronic track cues are in small notation.
