Preface by Paul Renzi:
The three movements of this suite are taken from J.S. Bach's sacred music, the first from a mass and the other two from cantatas. I have chosen these works because woodwind players are rarely exposed to this magnificent music.
In the Flute III part I have inserted the Alto Flute part when Flute III rests in order to strengthen the lower part. Brackets have been inserted to clarify.
I have also given suggested metronome markings to aid the players.
