How to Use Shop Pay Installments

Shop Pay is an accelerated checkout option powered by Shopify that allows customers to save their payment and shipping details for a faster, more seamless checkout experience. Here’s how it works:

1. First-Time Use: When you make a purchase on Flute Center’s online store and select Shop Pay at checkout, you can enter your payment and shipping details.

2. Saving Information: After completing the purchase, Shop Pay securely stores their details for future transactions.

3. Faster Checkout: On your next purchase from Flute Center, you simply enter a code sent via SMS or email to confirm the purchase—no need to re-enter details. 

4. Installments Option: Shop Pay offers clients the option to pay in full at checkout, or to split your purchase into regular payments with Shop Pay Installments. Installment options can be used on orders over $50, including discounts, shipping, and taxes.

• • How to set up Shop Pay: when in the checkout screen, scroll down until you see the “Shop Pay Installments” option under Payment. Once you select Shop Pay, you will be given the option to pay in full or in installments.

• • IMPORTANT: The Shop Pay button at the top of the checkout under “Express Checkout” will not give you the option to do multiple payment installments - it will be a fast, one time checkout.

What happens if I need to make a return?

Shop Pay is a service provided through Shop, so Flute Center has very limited capabilities to make any changes to payment plans therefore the return and refund process may take longer than other returns.
