This store is amazing. Unfortunately for me, I no longer live close enough to go in person (I've moved to Texas). But I recently ordered a Roi Piccolo cleaning wand... As you may know if you're a fife or piccolo player, it's hard to find cleaning fuzzies or wands small enough (especially if your instrument has a conical body), and when you do, they are fragile. The Roi which I ordered from Flute Center had an unfortunate journey through the postal system... I watched the tracking online as it made its way to Dallas, then, instead of heading down towards Belton, it went to Arizona, only to be returned to Dallas at a later date, and eventually heading south to me. By the time it arrived, on a Friday night, the package looked like it had been to Hades and back, and the Roi piccolo cleaner was broken in half. The diameter is too small for superglue to be an effective remedy, so I called the Flute Center during my lunch break on Monday, and the person on the phone was extremely kind and understanding. This was a great relief. The flute center literally had a replacement on the way to me within minutes. I mean the tracking number popped up on my phone before I had a chance to look it up! The new one arrived in a box with bubble wrap and all in one piece... Thank-you Flute Center for giving this story a happy ending. I know it costs a retailer no small amount to replace and re-ship damaged items, and I appreciate that deeply. These people at the Flute Center are, as we used to say in my old neighborhood, "Good People."
