Order Fulfillment Associate: Part-Time (NY)

Order Fulfillment Associate: Operations Department | Part-Time, New York, NY

24-36 hours a week, fully in-office, no remote work

The Role

As a Flute Center Order Fulfillment Associate, you will be a key member of our Operations Team. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Fulfilling online orders across all e-commerce platforms
  • Playtesting and preparing orders for shipment
  • Updating and maintaining order records in Flute Center’s database
  • Ensuring accurate and on-time order fulfillment 
  • Maintaining inventory organization (instruments, accessories, sheet music)
  • Ensuring items are put away according to our organization systems
  • Reporting inventory discrepancies
  • Incoming and Outgoing Shipment assistance: packing and unpacking shipments, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Passionate about the flute! 
  • Has strong flute play-testing skills.
  • Curious to learn more about product offerings.
  • A clear communicator.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated. You commit the time and attention it takes to make sure things are done correctly.
  • Eligible to work in the U.S.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Flute Performance (or currently enrolled)
