Customer Service Manager: Services Department (NY)

Customer Service Manager: Services Department | Full-Time, New York Location 

Monday-Friday, 10am-6pm, fully in-office, no remote work

The Role

As the Customer Service Manager for the Flute Center Services Department, you will be a key member of our Services Team. Your responsibilities will include:

Uphold the highest level of Customer Service

  • Field calls and emails in regards to the Services Department offerings, pricing, and availability
  • Confirm appointment bookings
  • Keep customers updated throughout the repair process, addressing any concerns and setting expectations
  • Collect payment and track outstanding balances
  • Maintain client information with real-time updates in our database

Coordinate with Repair Technicians daily on instrument evaluations and estimates

Oversee the daily workflow of the Repair Technicians

Expertly playtest all completed repairs 

Order parts and materials (flute pads, shims, etc.), generating Purchase Orders (POs) and tracking them through our database

Maintain inventory records and track usage to anticipate future needs

  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure that all daily repairs meet their shipping deadlines
  • Receive incoming instruments for repair, documenting their condition and customer details in our database
  • Maintain the physical organization of Inventory Repairs and Client Repairs
  • This role is not a repair technician role; no repair knowledge or experience required
