The Team

We’re adding a Content Marketing Manager to our Marketing Team. The Role

As the Flute Center Content Marketing Manager, you will be a key member of our Marketing Team. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Drafting email marketing campaigns and newsletters
  • Researching and writing blog posts 
  • Shooting and editing photos and videos that fit within our brand aesthetic
  • Conceptualizing and designing evergreen social media content
  • Growing social followings, community, social impressions and engagement within social platforms
  • Organizing existing content library
  • Helping coordinate and advertise Salon Series events, Flute Unscripted premieres, and Teacher Spotlight events
  • Creating graphic advertisements for events and promotions
  • Updating and editing Flute Center and Rose Music websites

We’re looking for someone who is:

  • Excited about social media and content marketing
  • A clear communicator - you like to read, write, and edit others’ work, too
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated. You commit the time and attention it takes to make sure things are done correctly.
  • Equipped with an eye for design (experience with photography, editing and graphic design are all a huge plus)
  • Passionate about the flute!

Office Assistant | Part-Time, 20-30 hrs/week posted August 8, 2022

This part-time position will primarily support our Sales Team and Client Services Team by assisting in pulling and play-testing flutes, cleaning, polishing, and reshelving inventory, and other duties as assigned. Compensation will begin at $18 / hour.  This is an in-office position, candidate must live in New York City or be willing to commute.

Flute Repair Technician | Full-Time posted July 29, 2022

The Flute Center of New York is seeking a detail-oriented flute repair technician whose main responsibilities will include managing our extensive inventory of new and pre-owned flutes, as well as maintaining all instruments covered by our Standard Service Guarantee and Concierge Service Guarantee programs.

In addition to upholding FCNY’s high standards of service, we are also looking for an individual that works well within our team and is able to meet deadlines and work within a structured repair department.

A working knowledge of flute repair is required. This position could be entry-level up to senior-level: We’re looking for the right person who will bring something special to our team!

Flute Center of New York Internships | Full-Time

The Flute Center of New York is seeking motivated and passionate flutists who want to gain real-world experience in the music industry by working for the world’s largest Flute Specialty Shop. Our interns participate in our daily activities, supporting our industry-leading Sales Team by assisting in pulling and play-testing flutes, cleaning, polishing, and re-shelving inventory, and packing and unpacking boxes. Interns should expect to work in a relaxed, fun, and flute-centric environment while earning college credit (check with your College Advisor) and a weekly stipend.
