Flute Repair Technician (New York)

Flute Repair Technician | Full-Time | New York, NY

The Role

Flute Center is seeking a detail-oriented flute repair technician whose primary responsibilities will include client repairs, maintaining instruments covered by our Standard Service Guarantee program, and managing our inventory of new and pre-owned flutes. 

In addition to upholding Flute Center’s high standards of service, we are also looking for an individual that works well within our team and is able to meet deadlines and work within an appointment-based repair department.

Strongly preferred qualifications include:

  • Straubinger certification
  • Muramatsu certification
  • Basic machining skills 
  • Soldering work experience
  • Previous experience at a flute manufacturer or retail store

Who We’re Looking For

  • Previous training in flute repair
  • 18 or older
  • Eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Candidates native/fluent in foreign languages are encouraged to apply
  • Must live in the greater New York City area or be willing to relocate
  • Part-time applicants will also be considered
