ALEGRÍAS Y PENAS is a work composed during the lockdown, a time when I was able to converse with many flutists from all over the world to continue making music, and although it was through social media, we were able to play in a virtual ensemble mode, being the first piece to be performed during the pandemic with the collaboration of more than 60 flutists from around the world.
A work that defines the plurality of music and the need to transmit joy and smiles through music, despite the hardships that each of us was going through at that time.”
