Description
Albert Périlhou (1846–1936) was a French composer, organist, and pianist. A student of Camille Saint-Saëns, he went on to teach piano at the Conservatoire de Lyon. Périlhou composed extensively for piano, organ, orchestra, and chamber ensembles, and is best known to flutists for his Ballade for flute and piano. Originally written for violin and cello duo, this flute duet arrangement of Périlhou's Menuet No. 4 for C flute and alto flute is suitable for intermediate to advanced players.
