Eligibility

• This trade-in offer is valid on the purchase of new instruments valued at $1,500 or more.
• Offer valid for instruments purchased on or after August 1, 2026.
• All flute trade-ins are eligible for a minimum $100 value. Higher trade-in values may be offered at Flute Center’s discretion after evaluation.
• This promotion is valid for a limited time and may be modified or discontinued at any time.

How It Works
Customers may participate in one of two ways:

1. Trade-in before purchase: Complete the Trade in Form. Send in your old flute with a copy of the Trade in Form. Once received and processed, you’ll be issued a personalized discount code for at least $100 off a new flute purchase of $1,500 or more.

2. Trade-in after purchase: Purchase a new flute valued at $1,500 or more. Then, complete the Trade in Form send in your old flute with a copy of the Trade in Form. Once your flute is received and processed, you’ll be issued a refund or gift card of at least $100.

Assessment of Trade-In Flutes

• All trade-ins will be evaluated by Flute Center’s expert team.
• Flutes may receive a trade-in value greater than $100 depending on condition, brand, and market value.
• The final value is determined solely by Flute Center and will be communicated once the instrument is assessed.
• Guo, Nuvo, and instruments with plastic mechanisms are not eligible for this promotion. Must be a Boehm-system flute; Baroque flutes, keyless flutes, and other world instruments are not eligible. Trade-in instruments must include a case and all parts. Headjoints may be eligible in some circumstances. 

Returns & Exchanges

• In the event of a return, Flute Center will refund only the amount actually paid, excluding any trade-in value applied. Trade-in instruments are not returnable to the original owner.
• In the event of an exchange, Flute Center will honor the value of the trade-in toward the new instrument.

Additional Terms

• Trade-in flutes become the property of Flute Center once accepted.
• Trade-in promotion valid for instruments purchased on or after August 1, 2026. 
• Offer cannot be combined with additional promotions or discounts unless explicitly stated.
• Customers are responsible for the safe shipment of their trade-in flutes to Flute Center.
