I purchased the complete T&G Flute Method—the big, classic edition that has been around for generations. It’s an excellent method for students of any level.

I still remember using T&G when I was studying with my own teacher, and I continue to use it with my students today. It truly stands the test of time and is useful for every generation of flutists, from amateurs to professionals.

It covers everything from long tones and finger technique to the famous T&G exercise that every flutist knows, along with many duets and studies. And I especially love that the entire book is spiral-bound, so you can lay it completely flat without having to struggle to keep the pages open.

Who hasn’t had some experience with this method at some point in their flute journey? I only wish someone would do the same thing with the M. Moyse methods and put them in a spiral-bound edition as well! ^^

I highly recommend this book, even if you’ve already finished your studies or degree. It’s always a good idea to go back to the basics and revisit these timeless exercises.
