Sonata Op. 151 (Flute Alone)
Description
Unique in the flute literature, Liebermann's SONATA for Solo Flute is a 20-minute composition in three movements. This rare gem provides a "portable" major work to present in unaccompanied recitals, competitions, and auditions, while also providing 3 single-movement options for shorter presentations. The SONATA was commissioned by the Library of Congress to honor Sir James Galway. "Must-have" would be an understatement.
