Originally for violin and piano, Widor's Suite Florentine is here arranged for flute and piano by Rien de Reede, with edits and revisions by Emmanuel Pahud. While there is some indication that the original Hamelle edition was also available in a flute arrangement, none could be found. And the violin version was unsuitable for the flute in many ways, requiring some modification for this arrangement. This lushly beautiful suite in four movements is now available to the flutist's repertoire.
