Flute Center of New York Salon Series presents:
Dave Weiss: Works for Flutes and Computer
Kingma Flutes: New Innovations Demonstration

Live at FCNY: May 19, 2022, 6:30PM ET
Premiere on Facebook and Youtube: May 26, 2022, 5PM ET

Brooklyn flutist Dave Weiss will stop by to perform some of his compositions for solo flutes and computers. He’ll also be demonstrating his collection of Kingma flutes and their latest innovations: the Open-Hole Alto, Upright Bass, ContraBass, and the “Matusi” Headjoint, a unique head joint attachment from Kerkhof/Kingma. Dave will also be playing his Levit Concert flute.

This is a preview of Dave’s performance at the National Flute Convention this August in Chicago. The styles of music are varied, from tonal “world” and “ambient”, to an homage to NY’s 1970’s avant-garde.
