There is too much hate on the internet over this classic fall drink! Whether you love it or not, you can’t deny that Pumpkin Spice Lattes are synonymous with fall. We’re pairing it with Autumn by Cecil Chaminade. Chaminade’s famous Concertino reminds us of the PSL because it is super popular, but gets a lot of hate. Her work “Autumn” was originally for solo piano, but is a lovely addition to the flute repertoire.

Chai Tea Latte

Chai tea is hot and spicy and what is more reminiscent of that than the Romantic Era? Cesar Franck’s Sonata (originally for violin and piano) is a fan favorite (just like the chai tea latte) with its luscious lines, gorgeous melodies and steaming harmonies.

Hot Apple Cider

What’s better than hot apple cider on a cool fall day? It reminds us of a lovely walk in the woods, which is why we recommend “I paused in the wood” by Jonathan Cohen. This work for flute choir is sweet and nostalgic - the perfect pairing for your hot cider.

Do you love the complex flavors of a maple cinnamon latte? We think you’ll “fall for” the Autumn Lute-Song By Su Lian Tan, a lively and colorful work originally for flute and string string orchestra, available here for flute and piano.
