Pavana Karanth, Customer Service Manager

Customer Service Manager

Pavana Karanth is a passionate and versatile flutist, educator, and arts administrator based in Brooklyn. She holds a Master’s in Flute Performance from Rutgers University, where she studied with Bart Feller, and she holds a Bachelor’s in Flute Performance with a minor in Performing Arts Management and Entrepreneurship from the University of Michigan, where she studied with Amy Porter. 


During her time at the University of Michigan, Pavana was a member of university bands and orchestras, and she was also founding member of Duende Winds wind quintet. Pavana is particularly passionate about new music, and she was a member of the Contemporary Directions Ensemble and Digital Music Ensemble at Michigan. During her studies at Rutgers, Pavana was a member of the Rutgers Symphony Orchestra and Wind Ensemble. She also continued to be an advocate for new music as a member of Rutgers Helix New Music Ensemble, where she premiered several student compositions. Additionally, Pavana was a member of Longy’s Divergent Studio during the summers, where she performed and premiered works by living composers while studying with and performing alongside members of new music ensemble, Loadbang. Over the years, Pavana has also performed in masterclasses taught by Valerie Coleman, Viviana Guzman, Alice Dade, Erica Boysen, Paula Robison, and Judith Mendenhall.
