Operations Manager
Pedro Ferreira, a native of Lisbon, Portugal, first discovered his love for the flute under the guidance of Jorge Nunes at Sociedade Musical Odivelense. He continued his musical journey at the Music Conservatory, Escola de Música Nossa Senhora do Cabo in Oeiras, Portugal, studying flute performance with Lídia Serejo.
In Portugal, Pedro performed in various venues, including Centro Cultural de Belém, Centro Cultural Olga Cadaval, Coliseu dos Recreios, Cine-teatro São João, Teatro Garcia Resende, and Teatro Municipal Sá da Bandeira. He also played flute in the Orchestra Philármonica de Lisboa.
In 2017, Pedro moved to the United States to pursue his studies at Troy University, focusing on Music Industry with an emphasis on Marketing and Promotion. He graduated with honors in May 2021 (Summa Cum Laude) under the guidance of his advisor, Robert W. Smith, and his flute professor, Dr. Heather Small.
Throughout his musical journey, Pedro honed his skills through masterclasses with notable musicians such as Adriana Ferreira, Rui Borges Maia, Natália Monteiro, Robert Winn, and Eva Amsler.
Following a successful internship in Spring 2021, Pedro secured a full-time position with Flute Center, furthering his career in the world of music.
