We carry a comprehensive set of beginner flutes, and this list curates our absolute favorites! These are all plateau-model flutes, meaning they are closed-hole, C footjoint flutes - no bells or whistles. These are meant to be for absolute beginners, or players up to a year or two of experience (especially small children).
The first three models below represent our recommendation for small children (usually 8 years or younger), and they will include both a curved headjoint to begin learning on, and a straight headjoint, for when the child grows into the full-size flute.
The other six models are our suggestions for the perfect student flute for larger children and/or adults.
