I was very pleased with this flute. If I'd had an intermediate flute like this as a young guy, I'd have kept playing. It's a bit of an adjustment; but both high and low notes are much easier and cleaner, as well as having a great tone.
It's also a nice price point.
I bought this around my first year of community college and wow this flute is amazing! I am now on my third year and having this flute for a year now almost two, and this flute never let me down! I would definitely recommend this flute! 🥰❤️🪈
I love my new Di Zhao. I trialed one last summer and I knew I wanted to upgrade my Yamaha 577-H. I love the throaty tone, the feel of the keys, and the bouncy release of the keys. My only frustration is that the flute I bought had the same problem as the one I trialed—the foot joint is way too tight on the flute body. I had to take it to my local repair shop to get it adjusted. I alerted Alex to my concern when I ordered the purchase, but apparently this is just how they come from the factory. So just be forewarned. But if that’s the only quibble I have you gotta know I am happy!
