Denis Savelyev is an acclaimed Ukrainian-born flutist whose career spans solo, chamber, and orchestral performances across the globe. A native of Lviv, he began flute studies at age five and quickly developed a reputation for expressive musicianship and charismatic stage presence.

His education includes the Gnesin Academy of Music in Moscow, the Mannes School of Music, Bard College, and the Peabody Conservatory of Johns Hopkins University, where he is completing his Doctor of Musical Arts degree.

Savelyev has earned top awards from the New York Flute Club Competition and the New Jersey Flute Society Young Artist Competition, as well as second prize at the National Flute Association Young Artist Competition and the “Rising Star” award at the Galway Flute Festival. He has appeared at Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, and other major venues as a soloist, chamber musician, and orchestral player, with previous positions at the Mariinsky Theater and the Palm Beach Symphony.

An Altus Flutes Artist, Savelyev, together with Radosia Jasik, released their debut album Two Cultures One Sound in 2024 and remains deeply committed to music education through masterclasses and private teaching.

Flutist Denis Savelyev and pianist Radosława Jasik have performed together internationally as a dynamic duo celebrated for their expressive artistry and cross-cultural programming. Their musical partnership has brought them to major stages, including multiple appearances at Carnegie Hall, where they premiered Virko Baley’s Partita No. 3 and later returned with programs highlighting Ukrainian and Polish repertoire. In 2024, they released their debut album, Two Cultures, One Sound, showcasing their shared commitment to championing music that reflects their cultural heritage and contemporary artistic voices. Together, Savelyev and Jasik continue to perform across the United States and Europe, offering recitals, educational workshops, and collaborative projects that blend virtuosity, storytelling, including a deep connection to Eastern European musical traditions.
